Brian and Diana Childress bought this property in 2003 and have been remodeling it every since. The home was built in 1865 by Coleman and Mary Ann Winn with brick fired in the creek just east on the property.
The family has a large garden and does a lot of home canning in the summer. Diana enjoys cooking and makes your visit relaxing and memorable, as you will want to return to Winn Hill often for food and rest. Her breakfasts include farm fresh eggs, homemade biscuits and gravy, Clifty Farms Ham from Kentucky, and will make every effort to make anything you would like to have.
Winn Hill also has a pond for fishing, above ground pool, and there is a ton of wildlife such as pheasants, deer, quail, and rabbits to watch.
Dogs are welcome as long as they have a kennel for the night. Smoking is alowed outside and on the balcony.
